The Bell Inn

Lovely friendly authentic pub, with excellent ales. I popped in here the other day, as I'd spotted the place and thought it looked interesting. Went on my own, on the way back from a bracing walk on Bodmin Moor. Not the sort of thing I'd do, usually, but on that day it felt right. I wasn't disappointed. I spent a lovely couple of hours sat at the bar, sampling the pub's own Bell Inn Ale, which was excellent, and chatting with Linda the landlady, who was very friendly and welcoming. It was a fairly quiet time of the day (6-8pm), but still there were enough people in there for the atmosphere to feel nice. I was struck by just what a nice environment it was to spend time in, and how much they obviously cared about the ales, and the general way they run the place. I will definitely be going back, and bringing friends.
